L.E.K. Consulting To Conduct Life Science Cares Strategic Planning Work As Pro Bono Partner
BOSTON, Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Life Science Cares (LSC) will benefit from the deep strategy experience of L.E.K. Consulting as the organization grows its work, having been chosen as a pro bono partner organization in 2018.
Life Science Cares is a collective effort of the life science industry to end poverty in the greater Boston area. LSC harnesses the human and financial resources of life science companies and industry leaders to support service organizations that do the best work in the areas of basic human survival, education and economic sustainability.
Coming up on its second anniversary, Life Science Cares is working with approximately 150 companies and their leaders to build relationships and volunteer efforts with 19 nonprofit partner organizations. The L.E.K. commitment of a team of staff over a six-week engagement will support LSC in developing a five-year strategic plan to ensure sustainability and continued growth.

Consulting's Biopharmaceuticals & Life Sciences practice and a managing director and partner in the firm's Boston office, sits on the Life Science Cares Board of Advisors and championed the LSC application through a competitive process the firm uses to choose pro bono engagements.
