Lend Lease DASCO Hospital Outpatient Center and Medical Office Building Projects on Schedule for Bon Secours Watkins Centre in Virginia

MIDLOTHIAN, Va., Sept. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lend Lease DASCO is successfully underway with the development of a 45,000 square foot hospital outpatient center and a 57,000 square foot multi-tenant medical office building. Both projects are part of the newly created medical-care destination Bon Secours Watkins Centre, strategically located at the interchange of Route 288 and Midlothian Turnpike in western Chesterfield County in Midlothian, Virginia.

An integral part of Bon Secours Richmond Health System, the complex will provide a full complement of medical services, including: a freestanding 24/7 emergency department, diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT and X-Ray, breast center, laboratory and physical therapy and sports  medicine services.

Lend Lease DASCO's role as developer/owner includes design and construction oversight, marketing & leasing and will also include property management services.  Other development team members include the architectural firm of Odell Associates and Whiting-Turner as the general contractor.  The hospital outpatient center is scheduled to open November 2011 and the medical office building to be operational February 2012.
