LendKey Appoints Samir Suri as Senior Vice President of Product

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- LendKey, the leading lending-as-a-service solution for banks and credit unions, today announced the appointment of Samir Suri as Senior Vice President of Product. A consumer financial services industry veteran of over 15 years, Suri is charged with guiding the vision of LendKey's turnkey platform and enhancing the user experience for LendKey's lending partners and borrowers alike.

Financial institutions are increasingly aware of the need to service their clients where they want to be served: digital and mobile. Most of these institutions lack the resources needed to develop these platforms and solutions in-house. Prior to joining LendKey, Suri served as Senior Director at Oportun Inc., a venture-backed social enterprise that works to provide access to affordable credit for individuals who are underserved or unbanked. During his five-year tenure at Oportun, the company's loan portfolio grew from $85 million to nearly $1 billion.
