NEW YORK, March 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Founded by health and holistic pioneer Sebastian Kneipp in 1891, Kneipp® is a beauty brand like no other – one that's committed to inner wellness by providing all-natural products that nourish both the body and soul. A leader in natural skincare in Europe, the 125-year-old brand is the perfect partner for Action Against Hunger (AAH), an international relief organization devoted to saving the lives of malnourished children and families, while also providing sustainable access to safe water and working on long-term solutions to ending hunger for good. As a lead up to – and celebration of – Earth Day, Kneipp® will be directly involved in AAH's efforts to provide sustainable sources of food and tools to nourish communities in need.
The Campaign
There are three ways you can help nourish a child's future:
- Purchase a Kneipp® Soft in Seconds hand cream
- Snap a selfie wearing a real or virtual flower crown and share it with the hashtag #KneippGrows
- Sign up for a new Kneipp® Family Loyalty Card
How It Works
Beginning Tomorrow, March 16th, a portion of the proceeds for every Kneipp® Soft in Seconds hand cream purchased will go toward Action Against Hunger's efforts to send Seed + Tool Kits to communities in need. Each kit contains one hoe, one water can, and two tins of vegetable seeds (such as tomato or kale) to plant a fruit tree – and help plant the seed to a child's future. Posting a selfie wearing a real or virtual flower crown (the official symbol of the campaign) along with the hashtag #KneippGrows will also benefit AAH's efforts, as will signing up for a new Kneipp® Family Loyalty Card (online or in-store). Kneipp® will contribute up to $15,000 to the cause, which is so easy to become a part of – and such a wonderful way to help nourish a child in need.

Today, we develop holistic concepts and products oriented to specific needs for our customers and users. The Five Pillars of Kneipp's teachings are always the basis for the holistic consideration of cause and effect. Moreover, for Kneipp®, quality stands for guaranteeing the highest degree of benefit, efficacy and safety of all products. The products, which are left in as natural a state as possible, whether bath or body care products, are manufactured with the same level of care as if they were pharmaceutical products. The extraordinarily high standard of quality of Kneipp® products is the result of our company's long history. And it is based on meticulous composition of the ingredients, the scientifically proven efficacy of the formulas and naturopathic and pharmaceutical experience and knowledge handed down for generations.
