Papapetrou will become partners effective February 1, 2018.  Levine Lee LLP is a prominent litigation boutique based in New York City.

Miriam L. Alinikoff represents corporations and individuals in a wide range of high-profile investigations, complex civil litigations and white-collar matters.  She has represented special committees of boards of directors in connection with internal investigations, shareholder demands and derivative actions; the Lehman and MF Global Bankruptcy Trustees; and various individuals in LIBOR and forex-related cross-border investigations and prosecutions.  She has represented clients in connection with investigations and proceedings by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as well as in a variety of business litigation matters involving partnership disputes, breach of contract, securities fraud and health care fraud.  Ms. Alinikoff joined Levine Lee in 2011 after starting her career at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, and she served as a judicial clerk to Judge Nina Gershon, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Christos G. Papapetrou represents companies and individuals in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country, in complex civil litigations and white-collar matters.  Mr. Papapetrou has authored dozens of appellate briefs in state and federal courts nationwide, including several federal courts of appeal and state supreme courts.  He has handled matters involving securities fraud, financial and accounting fraud, insider trading, public corruption, cybercrime, trade secrets, securities and consumer class actions, contract disputes and breaches of fiduciary duties.  He has also represented individuals and companies in connection with investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission, as well as various state criminal and regulatory authorities.  Mr. Papapetrou joined Levine Lee in 2014 after starting his career at Mayer Brown LLP, and he served as a judicial clerk to Judge Loretta Preska, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York, and Judge Peter Sheridan, U.S. District Judge for the District of New Jersey.
