NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LG Electronics USA has partnered with upscale retailer Bloomingdale's on a unique store-within-a-store featuring LG SIGNATURE, which combines the best of LG's cutting-edge technology and world-class design with exquisite attention to detail for today's most discerning consumers.

This marks the first time that major appliances and TVs will be sold at Bloomingdale's, bringing a new element of premium style to New Yorkers at the iconic 59th Street flagship store, and to luxury consumers across the country at bloomingdales.com. The store-within-a-store will open Nov. 19.

The Bloomingdale's alliance exemplifies how LG is identifying distinctive sales channels for LG SIGNATURE, ultra-premium products that are about more than just functionality – they reflect a lifestyle of simplicity and elegance, according to David VanderWaal, Senior Vice President of Marketing, LG Electronics USA.

For its part, Bloomingdale's – whose 59th Street flagship is a top tourist attraction in New York City, especially over the holidays – is creating an inviting place on the Housewares floor for shoppers to experience the essence of LG SIGNATURE.

The LG SIGNATURE store-within-a-store builds on LG's technology partnership with the retailer's new rotating pop-up shop. "The Carousel @ Bloomingdale's" tells culturally relevant stories driven by guest curators, brought to life through immersive in-store experiences thanks in part to massive video walls created with 70 LG OLED commercial displays. All told, 140 million pixels make up the 660sq. feet of video walls.
