Liberty Sports LLC and Polytan USA Announce New Partnership

MARIETTA, Ga., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Polytan USA and Liberty Sports, LLC jointly announced today that Liberty Sports will be the exclusive distributor for all Polytan turf and track products for the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S. This territory includes: Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. Liberty's focus will be to pursue both turf and track projects in this region and promote the benefits of Polytan's extensive product development and testing that has resulted in the most advanced sports systems in the industry. Polytan is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and installation of engineered synthetic turf and track systems and the most fully integrated sports surfacing company in the world.

From 2002 to 2009, Mr. Cook worked to make A-Turf a market leader in the synthetic turf field business as its Vice President of Sales. He has also been an active participant in the Synthetic Turf Council, most recently as the chairman of the STC's Membership Committee and co-chairman of the Business Practices Task Force.

Mr. Cook has been responsible for the sale and installation of more than 150 synthetic grass athletic fields in the U.S.
