LifeCare Home Care Agencies Earn National Recognition
Nine home care agencies take spots on 2018 HomeCare Elite® list recognizing quality, patient experience and financial management
PLANO, Texas, Nov. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeCare Health Partners is pleased to announce nine of its Home Care providers have been included on the annual HomeCare Elite® list. Developed by ABILITY Network, the prestigious list recognizes the top 25 percent of all Medicare-certified home health agencies in the country based on several performance measures, including quality of care, quality improvement, patient experience (HHCAHPS), best practices and financial management.
BeyondFaith Homecare and Rehab in Graham, Texas, achieved the highest honor of being named one of the Top 100 home health agencies in the nation. Six LifeCare Home Care agencies, including Care First Home Care in Las Vegas and BeyondFaith Homecare and Rehab in Texas – Garland, Lubbock, Aledo, Dallas and Abilene locations, achieved the distinct honor of being named to the Top 500 agencies list. Haven Home Health Dallas, including the Fort Worth and Ennis, Texas, branches, as well as BeyondFaith Homecare and Rehab of Wichita Falls, Texas, were also included on the list.

In 2017, LifeCare's Home Health division served approximately 10,000 patients in communities across Florida and Texas. Earlier this year, LifeCare acquired two Nevada-based home health agencies, Ever Care and Care First.
Carrie Perez, 80, of Graham, Texas, has been a patient of BeyondFaith for the past nearly five months. After suffering a painful compression fracture in June, Carrie is back on her feet enjoying her volunteer and ministry work – and she credits her recovery to the home care she has received since she was discharged from the hospital.

Nearly 9,000 home health agencies were considered for the HomeCare Elite® list. To be considered, an agency must be Medicare-certified and have data for at least outcome measures in Home Health Compare – a program created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
