LifeCare Home Health & Hospice Family Names Dr. Nasser Khan President and COO
Healthcare executive and physician brings more than two decades of clinical, operational and leadership experience to LifeCare's growing organization
IRVING, Texas, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeCare Home Health & Hospice Family has named Dr. Nasser Khan President and Chief Operating Officer as the organization continues to strengthen operations and support the growth of its family of home health, hospice and personal care companies.
In his new role, Khan will oversee operations across LifeCare's portfolio, working with executive and local leadership teams to strengthen operational performance, support integration and growth, and advance the organization's commitment to high-quality care in the communities it serves.
Khan brings more than 20 years of experience across healthcare operations, clinical medicine, strategy and executive leadership. Most recently, he served as chief operating officer and group president of Acadia Healthcare, where he held responsibility for a nationwide behavioral healthcare operation encompassing more than 260 facilities and approximately 25,000 employees.
His previous leadership experience includes roles with Shields Health Solutions, DaVita Kidney Care and Biograph, as well as healthcare strategy and operational transformation work with McKinsey & Company.

In addition to his executive experience, Khan is a physician and is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Medical Science degrees from Brown University and completed his internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
As president and chief operating officer, Khan will help lead LifeCare's continued development as the organization brings together locally focused healthcare companies with the resources and operational capabilities of a larger healthcare family.
