LIFT Digital raises $1M seed round to accelerate development of its revolutionary live online fitness training platform

MONTREAL, Jan. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LIFT Digital, an innovative live video-based training platform, announced today that it has closed $1M seed financing led by super angel and fitness industry mogul Leonard Schlemm, as well as a group of private investors. The LIFT Session platform is designed for fitness training, instruction, analysis, and monitoring. It can be conducted anytime, anywhere via live video sessions through iPads and TVs. It allows fitness clubs and trainers to service clients through sophisticated yet intuitive online sessions.

LIFT Digital underwent successful beta testing during the fall of 2014. The platform has pilot programs in progress with top fitness clubs in major US and Canadian cities. Additionally, it is currently being used by clients and independent fitness professionals all over the world. The financing will fuel further product innovation and the development of an online fitness marketplace. The marketplace will enable clients to find fitness professionals with different specialties and unique services. They will be able to connect and train from anywhere.
