Lincoln Property Company Participating in The Business Journal's Social Madness Challenge

DALLAS, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincoln Property Company has entered into The Business Journal's Social Madness Challenge, a social media competition with more than 4,000 contestants across 43 cities. The businesses strive for acknowledgement of their social media efforts, attempting to improve their social media influence through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Three national champions in three size categories will receive $10,000 to donate to the charity of their choice.

The Social Madness challenge is judging contestants' social media prowess using a scoring algorithm designed to measure social influence. Its formula tracks votes on the Business Journal website, Facebook activity, Twitter followers and LinkedIn connections to calculate a definitive winner.

LPC's charity Lincoln Charities, Inc., founded in April of 2008 is a worthy potential recipient of the prize. The charity aims to aid Lincoln employees and their families through difficult moments of life, with donations coming from other employees, vendors, and business partners. The generosity of colleagues in times of need fosters a strong community at Lincoln. Fundraisers are also held to raise money for the organization.

Voting began June 1 and LPC wants to win and reward Lincoln Charities, Inc. with the prize on September 11. There are three phases so supporters should vote through each stage to ensure that LPC emerges the winner.
