Lionbridge Adds Sales, Marketing and Offshore Expertise to Global Leadership Team

WALTHAM, Mass., March 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX), a leading provider of translation, testing and development solutions, today announced the addition of three seasoned executives to its global leadership team.  Marc Osofsky has joined as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Doug Fallon has joined as Vice President and General Manager of Lionbridge's Global Development and Testing business and Joseph Fiorentino has joined as Vice President of Enterprise Product Sales for Lionbridge's Global Software Products division.  Each executive brings years of experience that will expand and accelerate Lionbridge's leadership in software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based language technology, multilingual workforce management and global testing and development.

Marc Osofsky has joined Lionbridge as Senior Vice President Marketing.  In this role, Osofsky provides leadership for the marketing of all Lionbridge products and services including its language solutions, global professional crowd sourcing services and development and testing solutions. Osofsky has led marketing organizations and strategy at high growth software and services companies.  Most recently he was Global Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, Product Management for Optaros, a provider of SaaS-based ecommerce solutions.  Prior to Optaros he was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for OATSystems which was acquired by Checkpoint Systems.  Osofsky also held management positions at Frictionless Commerce before its acquisition by SAP.  He began his career at McKinsey & Co, a management consulting firm.

Doug Fallon has joined Lionbridge as Vice President and General Manager of Lionbridge Global Development and Testing.  Fallon has a proven track record of more than 24 years of growing revenue and profits within companies in the IT services industry.  Most recently, Fallon was SVP of Patni Computer Systems Limited, a $700 Million IT outsourcing company, where he led the Infrastructure Management Services Business Unit. At Patni, he established and managed business operations, sales and solutions, financial performance, operational excellence, delivery capability and customer leadership. Prior to Patni, Fallon held senior leadership positions at Nortel Networks, Razorfish and Cambridge Technology Partners.  

Joseph Fiorentino has been appointed Vice President of Enterprise Product Sales.  Over his 26 year career, Fiorentino has held several executive and sales leadership positions in the technology industry, including enterprise software, translation, network infrastructure and compliance solutions.  Prior to joining Lionbridge, he was the SVP of Sales and Marketing at Commsfirst, Inc., a provider of managed services for disaster recovery. Before Commsfirst, he was the CEO of Ecora, a software company providing automated compliance solutions to enterprise customers.  He was also the President and CEO of Idiom Technologies, one of the leading software companies in the translation automation market.  At Idiom, Fiorentino lead the company through its growth stage leading up to its acquisition by SDL.
