Locket Introducing "Locket Cares" -- Allows Users to Give Back to Community by Simply Using Their Smartphone

NEW YORK, Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NYC-based startup Locket is introducing a new way to use your smartphone to do something good for others on a daily basis with its new initiative called "Locket Cares." Locket Cares allows Locket app users to help charity organizations by doing something they do over 120 times per day – unlocking their phones.

Locket partnered with FREE ARTS FOR ABUSED CHILDREN, an organization in Los Angeles that inspires hope in the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness Through innovative creative arts programs and positive interactions with caring adult volunteers, Free Arts has brought healing art programs to more than half a million of Los Angeles' most vulnerable children. Under the motto "Art heals," Free Arts helps children channel emotions and release pent-up feelings through expressive art forms, and Locket is backing the organization by driving donations and featuring children's beautiful and inspiring artwork on Locket users' lock screens

Locket is now delivering more than 5 million full-screen, print-quality advertisements on smartphone lock screens every single day. Locket has partnered with big brand advertisers such as Hershey's, and is boasting its industry-record engagement metrics with its "First Glance Advertising" platform.
