Lockton Adds Robert Aschentrop as New Vice President

Experienced insurance and employee benefits consultant joins risk management firm's Kansas City, Mo. office

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Respected insurance industry professional Robert Aschentrop has joined Lockton Companies as Vice President in its Kansas City, Mo. office. With Aschentrop's extensive knowledge and experience in risk management and employee benefits, he will help to further bolster Lockton's growth and be a tremendous resource for clients. Lockton is the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker.

Aschentrop comes to Lockton with more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry with proficiency in financial analysis, auditing and budgeting. His other areas of expertise include employee benefits, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, retirement planning and consulting.

Before joining Lockton, Aschentrop served as a Consultant for CBIZ, providing clients with resources and solutions for their businesses, specifically in benefits, management liability insurance and risk advisory services. Prior to that, he was a Senior Banker for UHL and Vice President for US Bank.

Aschentrop received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science and Geography from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master of Education degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from Iowa State University. He is involved in several organizations in the community including the Ronald McDonald House and Children's Therapeutic Learning Center. He is also an active alumnus of the Kansas City Centurions Leadership Program.
