Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC Helps Raise $300,000 for Abused and Neglected Youth

NEWPORT COAST, Calif., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Lenny Fodemski, Managing Director and COO of Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC, recently co-chaired the 7th Annual Golf For Youth Event held at the Resort At Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, raising approximately $300,000 for abused and neglected children in Southern California. The full day of golf included contests and prizes, lunch on the course, hosted cocktails, hors d' oeuvres, live music, a buffet dinner, awards reception, and opportunity drawings.

Fodemski called on the insurance industry to support the programs of Mustard Seed Ranch, a charitable nonprofit organization that provides equine assisted therapy and life-experience programs to help youths break the cycle of abuse, and reestablish relationships and trust in their lives. The organization fills a critical need for therapeutic programs that are often lacking in foster care and group home settings.

Industry executives from companies including Arch Insurance Group, Burnham Benefits Insurance Services, CRC Insurance Services, Inc.(TM) Ullico Casualty, Professional Warranty Service Corporation, and Zurich Financial Services Group, joined Fodemski in taking a stand against child abuse by participating in the golf event.

It is our responsibility as a community to protect and care for these children so we can hopefully eliminate the destructive and lasting effects of child abuse on our society," explained Fodemski, who has chaired the Annual Golf For Youth Event for the past 4 years.
