Lockton Names Chief Operating Officer for St. Louis Operation

KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton, the world's largest privately held independent insurance broker, has selected Peter Caine as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its St. Louis operation. Caine succeeds Bob Reiff, who was recently named President of Lockton Benefit Group.
In his new role, Caine is responsible for risk management and employee benefits operations, serving more than 820 clients with a team of 230 Associates. Lockton's St. Louis operation opened in 1984 and now includes teams in Memphis and Nashville as well.

Caine joins Lockton after 14 years at global insurance broker Aon Risk Services. As Chief Operating Officer of the Northeast Region and Resident Managing Director, New England, he was responsible for the overall delivery of client services for risk management and health and benefits capabilities, and overall management of Aon's New England offices in Boston and Providence. As COO, he also provided operational support to offices across the region.

In addition to his experience at Aon, Caine also worked in management, employee benefits and sales for a variety of companies, including Textron Inc., Cookson America and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. He has a bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College. He also successfully completed the Textron Executive Development Program at the American Graduate School of International Management at Thunderbird, as well as the Aon Catalyst Americas Leadership Development Program.
