Market Force Study Shows How CX Excellence Drives Loyalty and Share of Wallet

This year's Customer Loyalty Index (CLI) leader is Logan's Roadhouse, which vaulted from ninth place in 2024 to first overall in 2025. Logan's surge was fueled by significant gains in CX Metrics—a composite of satisfaction, likelihood to return, recommend, and experience factors like friendliness, atmosphere, and value. Logan's posted a leading 52.6% CX score, well ahead of second place The Keg (47.8%) and Bahama Breeze (46.7%) in third place.

2025 CLI Rankings Highlight Big Movers

• Logan's Roadhouse climbed from 9th place in 2024 to #1 in 2025, with a CLI score of 4.52.
• Pappadeaux rose from 7th to 2nd overall (4.46), underscoring consistent improvements in experience delivery.
• Texas Roadhouse maintained a strong position with a 4.45 CLI score, rounding out the top three.

Trust Leaders See Shifts in Long-Term Loyalty
Bahama Breeze made a dramatic debut, claiming the title of America's Most Trusted Casual Dining Brand—a remarkable first appearance after not being profiled in 2024. Mellow Mushroom and The Keg rounded out the top three most trusted brands.

By contrast, 2024 trust leaders Bonefish Grill, Pizza Ranch, and Carrabba's fell sharply in 2025, with Bonefish now ranked 25th and Pizza Ranch dropping to just above the bottom quartile.

Share of Wallet Insights
When consumers were asked where their next 10 dining occasions would go, Logan's Roadhouse once again came out on top, increasing its share from 27.6% in 2024 to 37% in 2025. Round Table Pizza and Pappadeaux also ranked among the top three for share of wallet, showing how loyalty translates directly into future visits.

Methodology
The 2025 Casual Dining Study drew responses from 3,427 U.S. consumers, with 69.6% female and a household income of $50,000 or more in 68% of respondents. Results were indexed to produce the Customer Loyalty Index (CLI), a composite of overall satisfaction and likelihood to recommend—a proven gauge of both experience and advocacy.
