LOGIX Fiber Networks Adding Over 700 Buildings to Texas Footprint

HOUSTON, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- LOGIX Fiber Networks, the largest independent fiber network provider in Texas with the best connectivity to data centers in the state with over 100 data centers directly connected to its network, is adding another 722 buildings to the rapidly growing LOGIX fiber optic footprint. This latest expansion will be completed during the third quarter of 2018, providing dedicated, guaranteed symmetrical bandwidth to more businesses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston (DASH) markets, and their fast-growing suburbs.

The new fiber optic business campuses will enable 722 buildings to access LOGIX fiber, which delivers a wide array of affordable and flexible broadband service options from a long-time Texas company, instead of a limited choice of national service providers.

"We're committing the financial capital and skilled staff needed to significantly grow our fiber footprint because there's a very long line of businesses looking for enterprise-class bandwidth," said LOGIX Chief Strategy Officer Richard Rosmarin. "Reliable and symmetrical bandwidth is a must-have for businesses of all sizes. Now, more than ever, small and midsize companies can be on par with large corporations and compete effectively with the right technology solutions, and we deliver that in a flexible framework that's been a LOGIX hallmark for 35 years."

Businesses of all sizes require high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity that is best provided by fiber, especially in mission-critical moments when connectivity is crucial. Understanding that all businesses have unique needs, LOGIX tailored its product offerings to meet those demands.

"Not that long ago, only Fortune 500 companies demanded dedicated symmetrical bandwidth, but today, as companies of all sizes shift applications and even their business models to the cloud, downtime, throttled data speeds, and latency are revenue killers," Rosmarin said. "Rather than enter into a restrictive, long-term contract with legacy providers, businesses are telling us they want a customized approach, and we're investing to ensure that wherever they look in Texas, they'll find that LOGIX makes excellent business and financial sense."

LOGIX has more than 6,200 route miles of network spanning 225,000 fiber miles, which serves more than 12,500 enterprise and carrier customers across Texas. LOGIX operates its own high-performance data center facilities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston (DASH) markets, and connects to more than 100 data centers in Texas.
