Lori Bigelow Has Been Selected For The 2016 Roundtable Based On A Lifetime Of Accomplishment In Tea Manufacturing
FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Sept. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lori Bigelow of Wilton, Connecticut was recently recognized by America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals and Strathmore's Who's Who for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of Tea Manufacturing. She has now been accepted into The Roundtable program for 2016, as one of only 50 individuals to hold this great honor.
Lori Bigelow grew up in a family that specializes in developing tea and helped make Bigelow Tea a household name. She earned her M.S.N. at Keene State College but maintained her relationship with the family business, Bigelow Tea Company. Ms. Bigelow learned all about the business of making specialty teas including a sense of blending, sipping, tasting and tweaking which ultimately led to the development of some of Bigelow's favorite and best loved teas. The seasonal favorite, Vanilla Chai and the Novus line are just 2 of the many. Ms. Bigelow was on the board of the U.S. Tea Association and is a member of the Canadian Tea Association. She was instrumental in the purchase of the Bigelow's Tea Charleston Tea Plantation which she helped to get up and running in 2003. The Plantation grows and produces American Classic Tea and is open to weddings, tours and music festivals. Ms. Bigelow currently oversees the everyday operations of the plantation and says "As those who came before me, tea has been my life…and it's been a great one."
America's Registry's Roundtable is an elite program designed to take every aspect of membership to the highest level. It exists exclusively for a small handful of our most qualified professionals; with over 30,000 listed members, this is undoubtedly a position of power, prestige and limitless opportunity. It includes a narrative-style biography allotted solely to our America's Roundtable members. Through an admittedly stringent screening process, this year's Roundtable candidates were chosen based on their credentials, accomplishments, aspirations and A.R.O.P. standing. These places are reserved for a pre-selected set of individuals. Such is the case for Lori Bigelow who has shown professionalism in the Tea Manufacturing and Marketing industry.
