Los Tercer Mundo Debuts New Video, Shot at Ecuador's Luxurious Casa Ceibo Boutique Hotel & Spa

"Abrazame" represents a new direction for Tercer Mundo, which has adopted an "electronic pop" vibe with its latest album. Since its December 2011 release, the song has reached number-one with multiple Ecuadorian radio stations and is quickly climbing charts nationally. The videography is the work of Xavier Jacome (no relation to the band), who has shot a number of rock videos that have topped Ecuador's music charts.

The video's official release/press conference took place Jan. 10, 2012, at the headquarters of Discos Del Mundo, the record label behind the new album. "Abrazame" is airing on Ecuador's major networks, and Tercer Mundo is marketing to international markets, including MTV Latin. "Abrazame" and other songs from the new album will be played on upcoming tours throughout Ecuador and the United States (April/May 2012).
