Lozano Smith Attorneys Named 2013 Northern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

FRESNO, Calif., July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lozano Smith, LLP, a leading California education and public agency law firm, announced today that five attorneys from its statewide offices have been selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as 2013 Northern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars. Each year, less than five percent of the lawyers in the state receive the Super Lawyers designation, while less than two and a half percent of lawyers receive the Rising Star designation.

Louis T. Lozano and Gregory A. Wedner were both selected as Northern California Super Lawyers. Mr. Lozano, a revered attorney practicing in Monterey known for his labor negotiation skills, has been named by California Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top attorneys in California for the eighth consecutive year. Mr. Wedner, Managing Partner of Lozano Smith, LLP, practices primarily out of the North Bay and Sacramento offices where he regularly serves as the lead litigator on behalf of public agencies, specializing in employment matters and all other areas of education and municipal law.

Emerzian represents clients from the Fresno office in both municipal and education law, specializing in local government, litigation and labor and employment issues.
