(NASDAQ: LPLA) (the "Company"), parent company of LPL Financial LLC ("LPL Financial"), today announced the commencement of a secondary offering of up to 6,212,726 shares of its common stock by certain minority stockholders, which do not include the investment funds associated with TPG Capital, L.P. and Hellman & Friedman LLC. The Company itself is not selling any shares in this offering.
