AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Luminex Corporation (NASDAQ: LMNX), today announced that it will host Planet xMAP Europe 2012, its annual European multiplexing technology symposium, October 10-11, 2012 at the Grimaldi Forum in the Principality of Monaco.  Luminex anticipates attendance of over 500 scientists and more than 40 scientific presentations to be addressed during the 10^th anniversary event. The two-day program features scientific sessions, workshops, discussion groups, exhibitions and networking events with scientists and researchers from around the world who are performing groundbreaking work in clinical diagnostics and life science research using Luminex's technology platforms.
