Grupo ilao has acquired 21 brokerages across seven cities over past two years, eyes future acquisitions and growth

ASPEN, Colo., Aug. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Lupine Crest Capital, the family office of American businessman and private equity veteran Jean-Pierre "JP" Conte, today announced it has led a $30M investment via debt and equity financing in Chariot & Castle Seguros, a leading property and casualty insurance brokerage operating in Colombia as Grupo ilao. Over the past two years, Grupo ilao has acquired 21 individual brokerages across seven cities, making it one of the top five insurance brokerages in Colombia.
