Innovative multi-panel system offers unparalleled control over light, privacy and aesthetics
RICHMOND, Va., June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- It isn't every day that a brand-new concept arrives to window shades—especially one that offers up an entirely new concept. LuXout Shades, a proprietary window treatments line that's manufactured by Richmond, Va.-based The Specialty Group Ltd. and offered exclusively to interior designers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, recently introduced Vision—a new line of window shades that utilizes transitioning, solid striped and translucent panels to produce limitless degrees of privacy, light and aesthetics. Through a single, chain operated system, Vision's bold, horizontally striped panels are juxtaposed against one another and/or a separate translucent panel, to adjust light and visual aesthetics from transparent (open), to dimmed, or even total black out, while transitioning the shade's visual appearance through striped phases.

Vision works by combining and overlapping two boldly striped panels with a third panel that's produced from translucent material. Through a single, manual- or motor-driven operator, homeowners can transition through modes ranging from fully closed (solid color opaque) to varying degrees and combinations of clear, translucent and solid (opaque) stripes, all of which can be adjusted to any height and level. The result is a degree of control that's unachievable in any other shade design.
Vision features four highly unique, high-quality fabric options in 21 color and texture combinations, all of which can be topped off by coordinating or contrasting head boxes for a crowning finish.
