MacPractice Previews ICD-10, MacPractice EHR/iEHR at HIMSS

LINCOLN, Neb., Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MacPractice, the leading Apple developer of OS X and iOS native software for doctors who prefer to use Macs, iPads, and iPhones, will preview new MacPractice EHR Ability in MacPractice MD, DC, 20/10 and DDS at the upcoming HIMSS conference in the Interoperability Showcase. The solution interoperates with MacPractice's iEHR and Clipboard apps for iPad, and ICD-10 code mapping with ICD-9 and SNOMED. MacPractice will showcase the solution's capabilities at booth #9001-108 during the HIMSS show held February 23^rd to 27^th in Orlando.

MacPractice EHR and ICD-10 will be available this spring in MacPractice 4.8, which MacPractice is internally testing before requesting a certification test date later this quarter.

The MacPractice Environment is a suite of native OS X practice management and clinical software for Macs that interoperates with MacPractice's native iOS 7 apps designed for iPad, including Patient Check In, MacPractice Clipboard and MacPractice iEHR. The bi-directional exchange of data between MacPractice's applications, combined with the ability for the patient to enter demographic and clinical data, take their own photo, and sign their HIPAA and release forms, produces an improved overall patient in-office experience while enhancing staff and doctor efficiency and productivity.
