CANTON, Miss., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Madison County is working to become the first county in Mississippi to bring C Spire's next-generation, lightning fast Fiber to the Home broadband Internet access and related services to residents in some of its unincorporated areas.

Hundreds of residents who live in 22 subdivisions in unincorporated areas of the state's sixth largest and highest per capita income county already have signed up since C Spire launched pre-registration for the game-changing suite of services earlier this month.

Residents who live in 22 subdivisions in unincorporated areas of Madison County, the sixth largest and highest per capita income county in Mississippi, are signing up for C Spire's next-generation, lightning fast Fiber to the Home broadband Internet access and related services. The areas have been grouped into 10 fiberhoods based on housing density and proximity to the company's fiber optic infrastructure.
