Madvapes Appoints Scanlan As CEO Of UK Division

LONDON, March 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Madvapes Holdings has embarked on a major business expansion strategy both in the USA and Europe. To lead this charge in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland we are pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Scanlan as CEO of Madvapes UK Ltd.

Mr. Scanlan is an experienced international manager having spent his career building businesses in the Tobacco, Mobile Phone and of late the Electronic Cigarette sectors.

Having spent many years at Rothmans International, where he built brands and sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, he looked for business opportunities to suit his talent. Always a pioneer he built a business in the emerging mobile phone e-transaction space which grew to a turnover of €65 million within three years and sold to investors within five.

As electronic cigarettes started to emerge as a serious option for consumers he joined a fast growing manufacturer and led it to become a leading brand in the UK market and number two in Ireland.

The Vaping market in the UK is growing at a tremendous pace as technology improves and more mainstream consumers are attracted to Vaping. The current retail environment is beginning to mature giving ideal conditions for Madvapes to establish a chain of corporate owned and franchised stores across the country.
