Magnolia Teams Up With MaximusLife For Upcoming Marathon

Magnolia will leverage MaximusLife's virtual fundraising capabilities to connect with those who are unable to be in Waco for this year's marathon. Profits from this year's Silo District Marathon will once again benefit the Brave Like Gabe Foundation and Waco's McClinton Cancer Center.

The Silo District Marathon was started in 2018 by Chip Gaines after a chance encounter with Gabrielle "Gabe" Grunewald, a professional runner who has been battling a few forms of rare cancer for the past 10 years. This chance meeting inspired Chip to set out and train for his first marathon which, thanks to Gabe's ongoing support and encouragement, he was able to complete last year (ie the inaugural Silo District Marathon). The Silo District Marathon returns for its second year on Sunday, April 28. This USATF-certified race is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
