MAHLE Solidifies North American Headquarters Operations in Farmington Hills, Michigan

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., June 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With the acquisition of the facility adjacent to their existing operations, MAHLE will further consolidate its corporate activities in Farmington Hills.

MAHLE Industries, Incorporated has completed the acquisition of the former Nailco facility located at 23200 Haggerty Road. This facility provides the company with an additional 50,000 square feet of office space along with warehouse space that could be used for future growth.

Combined with existing operations located at 23030 Haggerty Road, the company will consolidate its North American central functions on one campus. Operations presently located in Novi, Michigan will be relocated to Farmington Hills. This includes the Test Systems and Engineering Services business of MAHLE Powertrain, LLC. Upon completion of relocations by the beginning of 2013, there will more than 350 employees on the Farmington Hills campus.
