MajescoMastek Successfully Implements STG Billing for DAS Canada

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- MajescoMastek, the U.S. subsidiary of global technology solutions provider Mastek Limited (NSE: MASTEK), announced today that DAS Canada, part of DAS Group, the global leader in Legal Expense Insurance, has gone live with the STG billing system to support the company's Canadian launch in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.  This marks MajescoMastek's first billing implementation in Canada.

The STG Billing system will handle all customer payments, broker commissions and financial records associated with insurance brokers' distribution of LEI for DAS Canada.  A modernized web-based billing solution, STG Billing was commissioned by DAS Canada on July 5, 2010 and has already resulted in the registration of over 100 brokers.  It is anticipated to accommodate DAS Canada's goal to build and lead the legal expense market in Canada  through the independent broker channel.  The billing system, along with DAS Canada's rate, quote and issue broker portal makes it very easy for DAS to support a large number of customers and brokers efficiently and effectively.   Additionally, a significant percentage of customers are expected to elect to pay monthly, resulting in significant billing transaction volumes.
