Manatt Expands Financial Services and Banking Practice in San Francisco

David Gershon Brings Extensive Experience to Nationally Recognized Team

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, announced that David Gershon has joined the San Francisco office as a partner in the Financial Services and Banking practice. He joins the firm from Bingham McCutchen LLP.

Gershon focuses on securities and general corporate matters for financial institutions and technology companies. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, private placements and corporate governance. Gershon was formerly general counsel of a Nasdaq-listed semiconductor company and a venture-backed software developer.
