Manchester-based Interact Recognized for International Success at the GP Bullhound Northern Tech Awards

MANCHESTER, England, March 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --

Interact, global provider of enterprise intranet software, was last night presented with the Judge's Award for International Success at the GP Bullhound Northern Tech Awards in Newcastle.

Interact was up against some stiff competition for the award, which was judged by a panel made up of representatives from some of the tech industry's biggest influencers.

Although Interact has been well established in the UK market for more than 10 years, they have enjoyed exponential growth in recent years which is largely down to their success in the US.

In 2016, Interact opened a San Francisco office to add to their existing operations in New York, and this year they expect US revenue to overtake the UK for the first time.

Simon Dance, UK CEO says: "We saw our global revenues triple from 2013 to 2016, and although the UK has made a significant contribution to this, it's our growth in the US that is now giving us the biggest acceleration. By 2020 we predict global revenue to to grow by 400 per cent, two-thirds of which will come from the US."

Interact was also recognized as one of the Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies at the ceremony last night, alongside some of the North of the UK's most exciting tech enterprises.

The award comes a month after Interact was named one of the UK's top 50 pioneering late stage tech companies as part of Tech City UK's Future Fifty program, and heralds an exciting time for the Manchester-based company.
