Manfrotto Distribution and Kata Announce the Quick Draw Challenge

RAMSEY, N.J., Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The perfect image can disappear in a second.  Even the best camera in the world won't capture a desired shot if it's not accessible at a moment's notice. 

With the introduction of the Kata 3N1 camera sling/backpack and other bags within the Kata line, photographers can swiftly capture more of life's moments while protecting their gear.  To help users become more familiar with these new offerings and their accessibility benefits, Kata has announced an online, interactive game through its website called the Online Quick Draw Challenge.

Online Quick Draw Challenge – How it Works

• Kata's Online Quick Draw Challenge has lined up four of the fastest camera slingers on the web. Each of the characters is armed with a different Kata bag, which enables him or her to draw a camera and shoot quickly.
• Users choose a character and try to draw their camera as quickly as possible and photograph their opponent before he or she photographs them.
• An alternate option to enter and win is to dress up as the most convincing western camera slinger and submit the picture.

The Prize

Both games are played via webcam and five lucky winners will be chosen each month to receive a KATA Pro-Light 3N1-25 camera bag.

In Person Quick Draw US Challenge

A live version of the Kata Quick Draw Challenge will be traveling to trade shows and camera dealers throughout the United States.  The first stop for the tour will be at the Manfrotto Distribution Booth (Booth 217-223) at Photoshop World West in Las Vegas (Sept. 5 -8, 2012). The tour will also stop at the Manfrotto Distribution Booth (Booth 819-919) at the PhotoPlus East Expo in New York City (October 25-27, 2012).
