Manufacturing Excellence Earns Cooper Standard's El Jarudo Facility IndustryWeek's Best Plants Honor

NORTHVILLE, Mich., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cooper Standard's (NYSE: CPS) El Jarudo manufacturing facility in Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, has earned recognition for manufacturing excellence as one of four winners of IndustryWeek's 2026 Best Plants Awards. The program annually recognizes plants, located in North America, that are on the leading edge of efforts to increase competitiveness, enhance customer satisfaction and create stimulating and rewarding work environments for their employees.

Cooper Standard's global approach to manufacturing combines operational discipline with a strong focus on continuous improvement, quality and world-class customer service. The El Jarudo facility manufactures stainless steel fuel rails, cooling hoses and air lines for leading global automakers and suppliers, supported by Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and digitization initiatives designed to improve safety, efficiency, consistency and quality.

The El Jarudo honor marks the second time a Cooper Standard facility has earned an IndustryWeek Best Plants Award. In 2023, the Company's Aguascalientes, Mexico, facility received the recognition for its operational excellence, customer service and employee engagement.
