WASHINGTON, Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Marc Blais, vice president at Xylem Inc. Applied Water Systems-Americas, has been named to the Water Systems Council (WSC) board of directors.
Blais joined Xylem Inc., a leading global water technology company dedicated to solving the world's most challenging water issues, in 2011 as Managing Director of Applied Water Systems-Canada. He was named vice president at Applied Water Systems-Americas in 2014, and is responsible for AWS-Americas' sales, distribution and customer service in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Prior to joining Xylem Inc., Blais was managing director of ITT Residential & Commercial Water-Canada and also served as general manager of Wajax Industrial Components' Fluid Handling Division.

The Water Systems Council is the only national, nonprofit organization solely focused on household wells and small water well systems.
