CLEVELAND, June 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Italy brought us many great things, among them, pizza. It has become one of the most popular dishes in America, and it's about to turn 127. On June 11, 1889, Raffaele Esposito created the first pizza for Queen Margherita of Savoy. Marco's Pizza is recognizing the day by giving away pizzas and offering its popular CheezyBread for just $1.27 all day Saturday, June 11 with any purchase at participating locations across the country. Marco's Pizza is also using the 127th birthday of pizza to launch its Eat, Share, Win Sweepstakes. Along with thousands of food prizes and the chance to win pizza for a year, there are other prizes that celebrate other great products from Italy.
