Mariner Wealth Advisors Welcomes Kevin W. Corbett

LEAWOOD, Kan., July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mariner Wealth Advisors, an independent wealth advisory firm with offices nationwide, today announced that Kevin W. Corbett has joined the firm as senior vice president of wealth management. An experienced professional with nearly two decades of experience, Corbett will serve on the firm's executive committee with a focus on executing upon a wide range of strategic and tactical initiatives.

Corbett joins the firm from Fidelity Investments, where he was a senior relationship manager who worked closely with Mariner Wealth Advisors and its partner firms. Through his 17 year tenure at Fidelity, Corbett held various roles throughout the retail and institutional brokerage businesses, including positions in National Financial Services, Capital Markets and Institutional Wealth Services. Corbett's past experience also includes working as a head trader with Bainco International Investors.

The hiring of Corbett is the latest in a series of initiatives Mariner Wealth Advisors has undergone in an effort to further its goal of delivering industry-leading services to clients when and where they need them. Most recently, the firm partnered with Housen Financial Group, located in New Jersey, and with RR Advisory Group, located in New York City.
