Marken to Host Direct to Patient Workshop

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., June 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Marken announced today that they will host an industry workshop to discuss the emerging direct to patient clinical trial market, and that they have forged a global co-marketing relationship with GlobalCare Clinical Trials, Ltd, the leading global provider of ambulant health care services for clinical trials.

Marken's Direct to Patient (DTP) Home Delivery Service provides delivery of clinical trial materials directly to a patient's home as well as retrieval of biological specimens for testing, with quality guaranteed through full temperature monitoring (when required) from pick up to delivery. Now, Marken's DTP services can be combined with GlobalCare Clinical Trials' network of clinicians to offer a comprehensive home-based solution for clinical trials. Patients who face travel challenges due to remote location or current health condition may find this option a compelling reason to participate and remain enrolled in a clinical trial.
