Marketron Appoints Mark Springfield Vice President of Product Management

HAILEY, Idaho, Aug. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Marketron, the leading provider of software solutions and business services for the media industry, today announced the appointment of Mark Springfield as Vice President of Product Management. In this position, Mark will lead the company's Product Management team and oversee Marketron product lifecycles, long-term product strategy and development. Mark brings over ten years of product management experience and joins Marketron from Research in Motion, where he served as Senior Product Manager.

Mark brings extensive experience in the development, lifecycle management, pricing, and launching of new software products. Prior to joining Marketron, Mark served as Senior Product Manager at Research in Motion, where he was focused on strategy and planning associated with RIM's social networking and cloud services initiatives. Mark has also held positions as Director of Product at Aligo, building workforce optimization solutions for small and medium businesses, and as Senior Product Manager at Global English, providing enterprise HR solutions for the Global 500.
