Marlabs Named to the 2010 Global Services 100 List

Dec 23, 2010, 08:07 ET from Marlabs, Inc.

PISCATAWAY, N.J., Dec. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Marlabs, Inc. announced today that it has been named to the 2010 Global Services 100 List (GS100). This is the annual survey and analysis of the global ITO-BPO industry done by Global Services in association with NeoAdvisory. An industry benchmark because of its rigorous methodology, exhaustive coverage, and value to buyers, the survey recognizes service provider excellence and maturity to serve the global market.

Atul Vashistha, Chairman, NeoAdvisory, said, "There is a recognition in large companies that outsourcing as a means to reduce costs has had its time; these companies are increasingly looking at service providers being able to make their operations more effective globally and even to transform key areas of their business. The GS100 companies are the ones who are delivering on these fronts and are equipped to demonstrate new forms of value in outsourcing to their clients."

"We are honored to be featured on the prestigious Global Services 100 list and to be recognized as a leader in the global outsourcing community," said Jay Nair, Senior Vice President, Marlabs. "The award bears testimony to our commitment to building winning customer partnerships that realize transformative results. Underscoring our delivery capabilities is a global yet local footprint that combines global scale and reach with local, close-to-customer presence. For instance, we expanded our presence in Canada and Latin America to support our customers in these geographies. This has helped us institute truly customer centric operations that are closely aligned with our customers' goals."

According to Global Services, the GS100 model for analysis is based on four primary pillars: Management Excellence, Customer Maturity, Global Delivery Maturity, and Breadth of Services Portfolio. A weighted scoring scheme was used to rate each of the above areas based on a scoring scheme designed by a panel of practice experts from Global Services and NeoAdvisory. Companies who participated in the survey shared exhaustive information through an online survey, and the top 100 list was derived using a scientific research methodology based on over 200 data points and several qualitative parameters.
