Showcasing O-, I-, and D-Level Test Capability at FIDAE 2014
The hand-held, battery-operated Marvin Test Solutions SmartCan™ is an innovative universal O-level test set designed for both 4th and 5th generation fighter aircraft including the F-5, Hawk, F-16, F-15, TA/FA-50, and the AH-64. It delivers unrivaled test and troubleshooting capabilities to bridge the Armament Test Gap that exists with legacy test equipment. Providing smart weapons emulation of JDAM and AIM-120, offering audio and video troubleshooting capabilities, and featuring more than 30 measurement channels, the SmartCan™ allows maintainers to test all legacy and smart (MIL-STD 1760) weapons systems.
The Marvin Test Solutions MT1888 is a series of state-of-the-art Laser Source/Spot Simulators (LSS) used to test laser-guided munitions such as the Hellfire missile, Paveway I and II, and the AGM-65E Laser Maverick missile at all of the maintenance and sustainment levels. Field programmable and able to select any PRF code, the MT1888 is a hand-held LSS that exercises laser seekers, simulating the laser return of a lased target.
In addition, the Marvin Test Solutions MT3045 is an Advanced Hellfire Missile Simulator (HMS) for the Hellfire Modular Missile System. The MT3045 is capable of simulating Hellfire missiles, tracking critical signals, and displaying status to the operator.
