Mary Washington Health Alliance Expands Strategic Relationship With Koan Health for Accountable Care Analytics

DALLAS, Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mary Washington Health Alliance (MWHA), an Accountable Care Organization anchored by Mary Washington's 550 bed health system in Fredericksburg, VA, has expanded their strategic relationship with Koan Health to provide population health analytics and advisory services to support performance across multiple ACO contracts.

Mary Washington originally partnered with Koan Health in 2012 to provide analytics to their employee health plan populations. At the time, Mary Washington was in the planning stages to launch their initial ACO product in 2015. Travis Turner, SVP of Clinical Integration at Mary Washington, joined in 2013 and has significantly grown the number of covered lives across MWHA's ACO portfolio. The relationship between the two organizations has flourished, with MWHA leveraging Koan's services to gain actionable insights into financial and operational performance across multiple ACO arrangements.
