Maryland Live! Casino Generates Top Slot Revenue In Mid-Atlantic Gaming Market

HANOVER, Md., March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryland Live! Casino continues to outperform competitors in the mid-Atlantic gaming market, generating the top slot revenue - $38,335,309 in February – among all casinos in the region. Compared to other facilities in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the property's net revenue was 25% more than the next highest competitor.

During the shortest month of the year, Maryland Live! enjoyed one of its best months since its June 2012 opening, despite operating less than its capacity of 4,750 slot machines. Hundreds of slot machines were offline during February as the property reconfigured the casino floor to make way for 122 live action table games, which will open to the public on April 11, 2013, at 12:01a.m. A 50-table poker room will open during the late summer.
