Massage Heights Expands Footprint in San Antonio with First New Braunfels Location

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Massage Heights, a leader of professional, affordable and convenient therapeutic massage and facial services, announced today it has expanded its presence in San Antonio with the opening of its first location in New Braunfels. Located at 2830 Town Center Dr., Suite 125, the Retreat is owned and operated by first-time franchisee Heather Huber of MVPenny Too LLC, along with her mother and business partner, Holly Huber.  

As a part of the new Retreat grand opening activities, Massage Heights of New Braunfels will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 19 for residents of the local community. The Retreat will offer discounted one-hour massages that day, and the first 100 people to purchase a membership will receive a gift certificate valid for a facial or massage, a $110 value. All offers will be available for purchase until Jan. 31.

Heather Huber brings more than 12 years of experience as a massage therapist and six years as a massage therapy teacher. She attended Houston Baptist University, and Walden University where she obtained masters degrees in education and clinical psychology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in educational psychology. As a first-time franchisee with Massage Heights, Heather is simultaneously working to open a second location in Bulverde in the first half of 2018.

As part of its nationwide expansion plans, Massage Heights is seeking qualified franchisees and area developers to join its growing brand. Prospective single- and multi-unit franchisees should have $175,000 in liquid assets and minimum $400,000 net worth per location, as well as experience in sales or retail management and managing hourly wage employees. Prospective area representatives should have $375,000 in liquid assets and minimum $600,000 net worth, as well as previous experience in franchising, sales, marketing and operating multiple sites, preferably in the retail, restaurant, hospitality or customer services industries.
