On January 7, 2010 Morgan Creek Owners Association was selected as the "Association of the Year" in recognition of the leadership, dedication and teamwork of the board of directors and community manager, Jeannine Muser. The Association of the Year award and other recognition awards were presented at the Community Associations Institute's Northern California Chapter awards banquet.

The Community Association Institute (CAI) awards are designed to highlight exceptional communities for their accomplishments, events, and community involvement.
