SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MassMutual's Retirement Services Division's Participant Information Center and a customer service professional are ranked among the Best in the World following ContactCenterWorld's Gala Awards Dinner in Las Vegas, Nev., on Nov. 15. The Top Ranking Performers awards, referred to as the "Olympics" by many, recognize the world's very best in the contact center industry. Gold medal winners from ContactCenterWorld's preceding regional Top Ranking Performers conferences were invited to compete globally for Best in the World.

Preston Little, a customer service professional in MassMutual's Participant Information Center in Memphis, Tenn., received the Gold award as "Best Customer Service Professional." The young professional started in customer service when he was 16 years old and applied for his position with MassMutual as a new college graduate.

MassMutual's Participant Information Center was awarded Silver for overall operations in the "Best Contact Center Large (In-house)" category. The winning presentation describes how the customer service representatives turn customer service interactions into opportunities to help people better prepare for their futures and protect the ones they love.
