STOW, Ohio, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Got a new product idea?  Matco Tools is searching for the next product innovation in professional automotive tools through their new "Made By Idea" contest.

Now through March 31, 2012, every new product idea or improvement submitted to Matco will be entered to win an Apple® iPad 2 16GB with Wi-Fi.  Plus, if a new product is brought to market, Matco will award two percent of the first year's sales to the participant, at a minimum of $2,500.  

"We recognize that the best source for product improvement ideas are the people that use these tools every day," said Green.  "The "Made By Idea" contest is a way to get the word out, leveraging our customer base to solve problems and improve our product offering."
