Max Sound Corporation Announces New Government Sales Opportunity; Strategic Partner Wins $22M Command and Control Software Development Contract

SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Max Sound Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MAXD), an innovative audio technology company that is changing how we listen to music, watch movies, play video games, experience television and communicate on our mobile devices, announced further progress today in its "Strategic Partnership" to introduce MAXD technology to the U.S. Federal Government.

Government sales partner Intelesis Technologies Corporation http://www.intelesistech.com/about.html, a veteran owned small business with Federal and State of California contracts, won a 3 year, $22 million contract with the Navy last week. Intelesis is currently working to gain Government approval for the insertion of MAXD technology into existing, fully funded programs of record – with a view toward improving the quality of Navy satellite and terrestrial voice communications, acoustic signal processing and the performance of a number of Navy command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) systems.

The Government's announcement last week states:

Intelesis Technologies Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $22,090,612 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) software engineering support to include engineering products related to C4I software applications and databases or database management systems for current and future C4I systems.  Technical support will include the full range of software development including system requirements, design, implementation, integration, and documentation.  This is one of six multiple award contracts:  all awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period.  This three-year contract includes one, two-year option, which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to $37,907,087.  Work will be performed at government facilities in San Diego, Calif. (90 percent), and at the contractor's facilities in San Diego, Calif. (10 percent).  Work is expected to be completed April 26, 2015.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via Request for Proposal N66001-11-R-0046 published on the Federal Business Opportunities website, and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website, with six offers received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-12-D-0113).
