May Table Games Revenue Up 4% Over Previous Year
Overall casino revenue also slightly higher in May
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board announced today that revenue from the play of table games at the 12 Commonwealth casinos during May of 2015 was up 4% over revenue generated for the same time period last year.
According to a report posted today on the Board's web site, www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, May's gross table games revenue generated $66,748,021 or $2,570,929 higher than in May 2014 when revenue totaled $64,177,092.
The Board also reported that the resulting tax revenue produced from table games play in May was $9,590,331. There was an average of 1,126 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.

About the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board:
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board was established in 2004 and is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state's casino industry. There are 10 stand-alone and racetrack casinos in operation, along with the two resort casinos.
